Goblin Valley

Summer in Provo is the bommmmmmb. But sometimes we are at a loss of what to do. SO me and Shalee had this great idea. We put all of our summer ideas in a box and when we are bored we pull one out. Shalee pulled out Goblin Valley. Goblin Valley is like 3 hours away so didn't know how committed I was. But 2 minutes after it was suggested we were in the car. Did we think to bring food? Nope or water. Or sunscreen. But we got the camera annnnnd the Tswift album. We listened to that a good 6 times. Turns out Goblin Valley is HOT. We asked the visitor center where to go once we entered the park but the girl said nothing. Literally nothing. Little confused why she was working but ya know we just went for it. So we drove to a parking lot saw a sign for the Entrada trail and just went for it.

We walked through this for a good thirty minutes. In case you were wondering on the other side of the hill is the road. It was just a bunch of switch backs. Horrible. Like horrible. Probably because I had not eaten anything and it was super hot so I was not feelin good. I mean I don't think you are supposed to be cold and have goosebumps when it is 100 degrees outside. Advice: Bring water. Also do not hike on the Entrada Trail. Once we got to the end of the trail we realized that it was actually the beginning annnd we hiked the wrong way but both ends had nothing. Advice: go to the Scenic Points, go down to the valley, climb goblins, be goblins. Kill it. What a solid day.
